Held under USA Cycling permit #1878, #1880, #1890. Part of the SCNCA CX Cup. USCF or NORBA licenses required except for Shimano Youth Races.

Mountain bikes are OK with bar ends that do not point forward or upward.
USCF licensed riders, use your USCF Cyclocross category or race in appropriate age group.
Cyclocross beginner level is category 4.

Shimano Youth Registration opens at 10:00 A.M.

Category guidelines:  Use your USCF cyclocross category. Masters and Juniors categories are open. Extra races add $5 except Men's 1,2,3 and Women's 1,2,3.  All riders must pay $25 to race Men's 1,2,3 or $20 to race Women's 1,2,3.  All riders must have a USCF or NORBA license to race.  One day race licenses are  available on race day for $10.00. One day license holders are category 4 for the day.  All juniors race free with USAC racing license. Otherwise, add $10.00 for one day license.  The SCNCA SoCal CX Cup is a points series for categories listed SCNCA SoCal CX CUP. Single Speed is started together but scored separately for the two categories.

There are no minimum field sizes

Most categories are part of the SCNCA SoCal CX Cup (scnca.org)
Singlespeed SCNCA SoCal CX Cup points awarded to top 12. 
Singlespeed  B  are scored separate for Urban Cyclocross daily and series points and prizes.
NOTE:  singlespeed B riders will not earn SCNCA SoCal CX Cup points.

Other rules, prizes and stuff

Bikes with bar ends must have them removed or pointed downward.  Mechanical support is allowed from pit areas only.  Riders may use mountain bikes. Helmets at all times when on a bicycle.  Daily prizes are merchandise, cash, ribbons or medals as stated above.  Specialized Men's 3/4 is $350 value in merchandise daily. Series points are awarded for each category per day.

Urban CyclocrossTM Series prizes are custom trophies and series winner's jerseys for all above categories.
